Arsenal, Everton and West Ham United are interested in acquiring the services of Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo.

According to a report by TuttoJuve, Arthur Melo could make a return to the Premier League in the summer with Arsenal, Everton and West Ham United all keen on acquiring his services. The Juventus midfielder has revived himself in the ongoing season and the Italians could now look to cash in on him.

Melo’s failed Liverpool move & his resurgence

Melo joined Liverpool on a season-long loan in the summer of 2022. He was expected to have a decent role at the Merseyside club but unfortunately, the move didn’t go according to plan for him. He was injured for the majority of the matches and even when fit he was restricted to the bench.

He returned to his parent club Juventus last summer but there was no place for him in their plans. As a result, he ended up joining Fiorentina on another loan. While the loan move to Liverpool might not have gone according to plan, the 27-year-old defensive midfielder has managed to revive himself this time around.

He has featured in 38 matches for Fiorentina and has racked up over 2,200 minutes. Melo even has two assists to his name. After having a horror season last time out, the Brazil international has bounced back in some fashion. And, his performances have put him on the radar of a few Premier League clubs.

While the Italian club have a buy option worth €20 million in the deal, they will not trigger it as per the report. Melo is all set to head back to Juventus but he is not a part of their plans moving ahead. As a result, they will look to sanction his departure in the upcoming window.

Since they are not in the best of financial situation, offloading him will help them raise funds. The report suggests they will look to make around €20 million from his sale with Arsenal, Everton and West Ham United keen on his signatures.

Arsenal, Everton and West Ham pushing for Melo

The Gunners are looking to reinforce their midfield with Jorginho in the final phase of his career and Thomas Partey’s future uncertain. The 27-year-old might have failed to fire at Liverpool but Arsenal are considering giving him another opportunity.

Meanwhile, Amadou Onana could be on the move in the upcoming transfer window given the amount of interest in his services. As a result, Everton are planning for potential replacements and Melo is a player they could push for.

As far as West Ham are concerned, they need a new defensive midfielder with Kalvin Phillips all set to return to his parent club in the summer. They are interested in Melo and could make a move for the Liverpool flop.
