Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior is reportedly a target for Manchester United heading into the summer transfer window.

Manchester United are reportedly keen on Vinicius Junior. But Defensa Central has stated that Real Madrid have no intention of letting the Brazilian international leave the club anytime soon, even for €200 million.

Vinicius Junior has established himself as one of the best attackers in the world, and he has helped Real Madrid win major trophies in recent seasons. His departure will weaken Real Madrid massively, and it is no surprise that they are ready to keep him at the club for the long term.

The Brazilian winger has been in impressive form this season, and he has 18 goals and eight assists in all competitions. The 23-year-old is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the front three, and he has all the attributes to develop into the next superstar.

The young attacker is already operating at a world-class level, and Real Madrid will struggle to replace him if they decided to cash in on him. The Spanish giants are expected to sign Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer from Paris Saint Germain.

So, there have been speculations that they could lose Vinicius. However, there is no reason why Vinicius and Mbappe cannot play alongside each other in a front three. The French International will be expected to take out the centre forward role, with the Brazilian on the left.

Vinicius would have transformed Manchester United

Manchester United need a quality attacker, and the 23-year-old Brazilian would have been a world-class addition for them. He would have been a massive upgrade on players like Antony and Jadon Sancho. Manchester United have spent millions of pounds on young wingers, but they have not been able to deliver consistently.

Vinicius could have transformed them in the final third with his goalscoring ability, creativity, pace, flair and ability to open up deep defences. The Real Madrid star has all the tools to succeed in the Premier League as well.

However, leaving Real Madrid will not be an option for the player either. They are the biggest club in the world and have scored capable of winning major trophies every season. On the other hand, Manchester United are going through a rebuild and the Red Devils will struggle to attract elite players like him without Champions League football.
