Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly spoken to Barcelona about possible moves for Jules Kounde and Hector Fort.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Catalunya Radio, Jules Kounde and Hector Fort are the subjects of interest from Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona’s defensive duo is attracting attention from several high-profile clubs. And the highly sought-after pair has now emerged as targets for PSG heading into the summer transfer window.
Jules Kounde, Hector Fort and their Barcelona journeys
Jules Kounde has been an exceptional performer since joining Barcelona from Sevilla in July 2022. He has come leaps and bounds in the last 18 months, although he has primarily played as a right-back. However, the Frenchman is an excellent centre-back, with many high-profile clubs keen on signing him.
As for Hector Fort, the teenage sensation is the latest academy product to establish a foothold in the first-team squad at the Catalan club. The 17-year-old is a native of Barcelona and has spent his formative years with the Blaugrana. He has already turned out seven times thus far for Barcelona this term.

Recent reports have claimed that the reigning La Liga champions have already knocked back a bid worth €35 million for the teenage sensation. He has now emerged as a target for Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG want the duo
In addition to Hector Fort, Jules Kounde also features on PSG’s radar over a possible move in the summer transfer window. Les Parisiens’ interest in the highly sought-after duo is understandable, with Presnel Kimpembe’s impending summer exit opening up a spot in the central defensive arsenal.
Kounde is thus a viable target for PSG. As for Fort, he can be the understudy to Achraf Hakimi before taking over from the Moroccan international if he leaves amid emerging interest from Real Madrid.
