Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, and Everton are interested in acquiring the services of Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior.
According to a report by Football Insider, Premier League clubs are interested in bringing Samuel Iling-Junior back to England. The 20-year-old Juventus winger is considered to be a huge future prospect and Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, and Everton are keen on his signatures.
Iling-Junior was a part of the Chelsea youth ranks before joining Juventus’s youth academy in the summer of 2020. While he was promoted to their first team towards the end of 2022 and has featured in over 35 matches for the first team, the majority of his appearances have come off the bench.
In the ongoing season, he has featured in 19 matches but has been on the pitch for less than 600 minutes. The 20-year-old English winger is frustrated by the lack of game time and is not looking to extend his stay at the Turin-based club.
His contract with Juventus runs out in the summer of 2025. And, with just over a year left on his deal, the Old Lady have accepted the fact that they may have to sanction his sale in the upcoming window to avoid losing out on him for free.
Tottenham, Everton, West Ham pushing for Iling-Junior
With Juventus ready to sell, the English clubs are looking to make the best of it. Tottenham Hotspur and Everton have long-standing interest in the former Chelsea academy ace, while West Ham United have recently entered the race.
Spurs are looking for depth on the flanks, and they feel Iling-Junior’s understanding of English football and his huge potential will help them in the long run. Everton are also seeking attacking reinforcement. While their priority is to survive in the top flight, they have started to plan for the summer and the Juventus winger is one of their targets.
Both Everton and Tottenham considered the idea of signing him in the winter. It might not have worked out back them but they remain keen on his signature. As far as West Ham are concerned, they feel he could be a great addition to their ranks for the long as well as short term. He will add depth, and his versatility will give their manager enough options to work with.
