According to a report by TRT Sports, Arsenal are keen on having Ferdi Kadioglu in their ranks. The 24-year-old full-back has been in sensational form over the past 18 months and his performances have resulted in a lot of interest from across Europe.

Ferdi Kadioglu’s impressive rise at Fenerbahce

Kadioglu came up the ranks at NEC Nijmegen before joining Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the summer of 2018. He has gone from strength to strength over the years and of late, he seems to have hit his peak.

The 24-year-old has established himself as a key player in the Turkish club and he has played a big part in the recent success. Over the years, he has featured in seven different positions for them.

They are currently fighting for the league title and Kadioglu has been a key contributor in their impressive run. The left-back has featured in 41 matches this season and has even contributed towards seven goals. While he has only been used as a full-back this term, he is capable enough to feature in the centre of the park as well.

Arsenal keen on Ferdi Kadioglu

His versatility and his impressive performances have put him on the radar of Arsenal. The Gunners have done wonders under Mikel Arteta. They are currently fighting for the league title. While all the focus is on the job at hand, they are looking at potential targets that can bolster their squad.

Arteta is someone who wants to add more quality to his squad as he aims to dominate Europe with this young Arsenal team. He already has a strong base and they are expected to make signings to further improve.

The Spanish manager seeks more depth in his defence. He wants another full-back and Kadioglu is high on his radar as he can feature on both flanks. The 24-year-old can also feature in the midfield and he seems to have the ability to get the job done irrespective of the position he is playing in.

While the Gunners are keen on his signatures, it won’t be easy to prise him away as he is an integral part of their first team. And, with his contract running until the summer of 2026, only an astronomical offer can force Fenerbahce to sell.
