Crystal Palace are keen on acquiring the services of the Austrian duo of Matthias Seidl and Leopold Querfeld ahead of next season.

According to a report by HITC, Crystal Palace are looking at potential options to reinforce their squad ahead of next season. The Eagles have their eyes on Rapid Vienna duo Matthias Seidl and Leopold Querfeld who have been showing great promise of late.

Michael Olise’s future and potential replacements

The Premier League outfit are well aware of the fact that there is a lot of interest in the services of Michael Olise, and he could part ways in the summer. As a result, they have started planning for life without him.

The Eagles have made it a habit to scout the best possible talent from the EFL Championship and bring them to Selhurst Park under the leadership of their highly-rated director of football Dougie Freedman.

If the 22-year-old leaves in the summer, the Eagles will push for the services of Sunderland talisman Jack Clarke and Hull City winger Jaden Philogene. The duo has been in sensational touch, and they will look to land them. But, it won’t be that easy given the number of clubs that are in the race and the fact that Aston Villa have a buyback clause in Philogene’s contract.

Oliver Glasner wants Crystal Palace to sign Matthias Seidl and Leopold Querfeld

Crystal Palace also have their eyes on Rapid Vienna duo Matthias Seidl and Leopold Querfeld to further bolster their squad in the summer. And, Oliver Glasner, who recently took charge of the club, is pushing for the signatures of the Austrian duo.

Seidl, who joined Rapid Vienna ahead of the ongoing season, has been in sensational form since making the move. The attacking midfielder has 15 goal contributions in his 31 outings. The 23-year-old Austrian international is a huge prospect and the Palace boss is keen on having him in his ranks.

Querfeld is only 20, and he is already a mainstay for the Austrian club. He has 30 appearances this term and has impressed one and all with his performances in the heart of the defence. The Vienna graduate is a star in the making. As a result, the Eagles are looking to sign him before other top clubs enter the race and make life difficult for them.
