Premier League bigwigs like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are also keen on signing the Atalanta midfielder. Meanwhile, the Serie A club will demand €50 million to part ways with the Brazilian enforcer.
Ederson’s Rise at Atalanta
Ederson Jose dos Santos Lourenco da Silva, better known as Ederson, has blossomed into a dominant midfielder since joining Atalanta from Salernitana in July 2022. The 24-year-old has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Serie A, especially in the ongoing campaign.
A box-to-box midfielder, the Brazilian enforcer can reprise different roles in the middle of the park, even being capable of playing as a holding midfielder. He has turned out 36 times thus far for Atalanta in the 2023/24 season, chipping in with six goals and one assist. Meanwhile, Ederson’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of high-profile clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
