Real Madrid might launch the offensive to sign Ecuadorian defender Willian Pacho from Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Willian Pacho is the subject of interest from Real Madrid. The Merengues are in the market for a centre-back heading into the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt will demand around €60 million to part ways with the Ecuadorian international.
Who is Willian Pacho?
Willian Pacho has been one of the most eye-catching defenders in the Bundesliga since joining Eintracht Frankfurt from Royal Antwerp in July 2023. The 22-year-old has been in Europe for over two years but has risen in prominence in the last six months after arriving in Germany.
A mainstay at the back for Die Adler, the Ecuadorian defender has turned out 35 times thus far this term, amassing more than 3,000 minutes of game time. Meanwhile, the youngster’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe.
Many Premier League bigwigs are interested in securing Willian Pacho’s services in the summer transfer window. But the Eintracht Frankfurt defender’s next destination might be La Liga, with Real Madrid considering a summer move.
