Manchester United are willing to go the distance to beat Real Madrid in their pursuit of teenage defensive sensation Leny Yoro.

According to a report by Fichajes, Manchester United are keen on reinforcing their defence ahead of next season and they have their eye set on Leny Yoro. The 18-year-old centre-back is regarded as one of the best young talents in the world of football and the Red Devils are ready to go all out to land the Real Madrid target at Old Trafford.

Leny Yoro’s impressive rise & Real Madrid’s interest

Yoro came up the ranks at LOSC Lille at some pace. He made it to their first team back in the summer of 2022. The teenager already has 49 appearances for the first team. He has cemented his spot in their first team and has been a regular feature this season.

In the ongoing campaign, the 18-year-old has 33 appearances during which he has been on the pitch for over 2,800 minutes. His impressive rise, consistent performances and huge potential have attracted a lot of attention.

The teenage sensation has been on Real Madrid’s radar for a while now. Los Blancos want to reinforce their defence in the summer and Yoro is quite high on their wishlist.

But, with the French club looking for around €60-70 million for the French youth international, the Spanish giants seemed to have taken a back seat. They are not looking to fork out that big a fee on him at this stage.

Manchester United to go all out for Leny Yoro

Meanwhile, Manchester United have also entered the race for his services. The Red Devils are in desperate need of defensive reinforcement. Numerous injuries during the course of the ongoing season have troubled them and they are looking to bring a young world-class defender to counter the situation.

They feel Yoro has the potential to be a special player and their new ownership are willing to go the distance to land him at Old Trafford. They are expected to make major moves during the summer and given their financial strength, they can surely meet Lille’s demands.

With United quite serious in their pursuit, the only way out for Real Madrid is to match their bid which they are not willing to do at this point.
