Arsenal and Tottenham have made contact for Francesco Camarda, who will be eligible for professional terms after his birthday on Sunday.

Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness insists Arsenal and Tottenham are among the clubs who have made contact for Francesco Camarda. The 15-year-old attacking prodigy will turn 16 on Sunday and, after that, eligible to sign professional terms as AC Milan is keen to hold on to their prodigious talent.

Arsenal, Tottenham interested in Francesco Camarda?

Francesco Camarda made history earlier in the season when he became the youngest ever player to debut in Serie A. Stefano Pioli’s show of faith amid all the hype around the 15-year-old attacking prodigy paid off as the club is now actively trying to offer him professional terms.

Italian rules state players can only sign professional terms once they turn 16, with Camarda celebrating his 16th birthday on Sunday. He can either pen new terms with Milan a minute after midnight or talk to several high-profile suitors about what they might offer.

Manchester City were considered front runners for some time now, but Arsenal and Tottenham are also active in the race. The north London duo have reportedly made contact for Camarda as they could sense an opportunity to sign the 15-year-old attacking prodigy once he turns 16.

Camarda is already considered one of the most exciting talents in world football in his age group, as clubs could sense he’s on the brink of first-team action. Losing out on such a talent would be a blow for top teams like Arsenal and Tottenham, especially if Manchester City end up snapping him in the due process.

Will Camarda leave AC Milan immediately?

While Camarda can sign professional terms with Milan after Sunday and even negotiate with clubs outside of Italy, it necessarily does not represent a big blow for Milan. The 15-year-old attacking prodigy cannot join a Premier League side until he’s 18, and there are reports he has already decided to extend with the Rosoneri.

The Serie A side reportedly offers him a three-year deal, which will run until 2027. Hence, there’s still that danger in the summer of 2026, when some of these clubs will come sniffing around for his signature again; only then can they sign the prodigious talent on the cheap. Camarda will commit to Milan and remain here for the foreseeable future.
