Fulham are reportedly keen on signing 25-year-old Danish striker Jonas Wind from Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg.

A report from WAZ has claimed that Fulham are keen on signing Jonas Wind, and they could look to make a move at the end of the season. The Cottagers are involved in a three-way Premier League battle for the Dane, with Wolverhampton Wanderers also interested in him.

The 25-year-old has done quite well for Wolfsburg this season, scoring ten goals across all competitions, and he has seven assists to his name as well. As iterated, two other Premier League clubs are also keen on him, making it a three-way battle. The Danish forward can operate as the centre forward as well as a false nine. He will add goals and creativity to the Fulham attack.

The West London club have not been able to score goals consistently this season, and they need to bring in a reliable attacker. Raul Jimenez has been quite underwhelming since joining Fulham, and the London club need to bring in an upgrade. It will be interesting to see if Fulham can secure an agreement with Bundesliga club Wolfsburg for Wind. They have also shown interest in other attackers, including Wilfried Zaha.

A move to the Premier League will be a tempting proposition for the 25-year-old, who is likely to be attracted to the idea of joining the London club. It would be a step up in his career, and he would get to compete at a high level. Fulham have a quality squad at their disposal, and there is no reason why they cannot push for a top-half finish and European qualification with the right additions. Wind could help them improve in the final third.

The ideal Aleksandar Mitrovic replacement?

Fulham have missed a quality striker since the departure of Aleksandar Mitrovic, and it remains to be seen whether they can get a deal done for the Bundesliga forward. The 25-year-old is entering the peak of his career and he will look to test himself at a high level.

A move to Fulham could not have come at a better time for him, and it remains to be seen how the situation unfolds. Jonas Wind certainly has the technical attributes and the physicality to succeed in English football. He will look to hit the ground running in the Premier League and establish himself as an important player for Fulham.
