Premier League clubs Crystal Palace and West Ham United are both keen on having non-league teenage sensation Olly Box in their ranks.

According to a report by HITC, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are ready to battle it out for the services of Olly Box. The 18-year-old sensation could soon go from non-league football to the Premier League because of his impressive performances in the recent past.

The rise of a young non-league starlet

Olly Box has come up the ranks at National League South outfit Dartford. The teenager has managed to break into their first team in recent weeks and has already put in some impressive performances.

The attacking midfielder was a star of the club’s academy. He was doing wonders for them and his consistent performances generated a lot of interest. Finally, he was handed his chance to feature for the first team, and the teenager has taken it from both hands.

Box has scored three goals in his last two outings for their first team. The step up has not bothered him and more importantly, his recent performances have come in front of scouts from some of the best clubs in England.

Interest in Olly Box from Premier League clubs

While multiple English clubs want him in their ranks, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are quite serious about their pursuit. Their scouts have been closely observing him, and they feel he could be a great addition to their squad.

Box is considered to be one of the best young non-league players in the country, and he seems to have the potential to make it big. As a result, both clubs are willing to invest in the teenage sensation.

Both the Hammers and the Eagles are big English clubs based in London. While they are well-established in the Premier League, they are having contrasting seasons this time out. West Ham are pushing for a place in Europe, while Crystal Palace are fighting for survival.

While both clubs are keen on his signatures, they are not the only ones who have scouted him. Brentford, Middlesbrough, Millwall and Leyton Orient have all been closely monitoring him and could challenge the London clubs for his signatures.
