La Liga clubs UD Las Palmas, RCD Mallorca, and Real Sociedad reportedly want to sign Arda Guler on loan from Real Madrid.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Arda Guler is the subject of interest from a trio of La Liga clubs. The 18-year-old whizkid is the subject of interest from AC Milan. But Real Madrid will prefer to send him out on loan to a Spanish club, with UD Las Palmas, RCD Mallorca, and Real Sociedad keen on signing him.
Arda Guler and his Real Madrid Frustrations
Arda Guler has endured a frustrating period since joining Real Madrid from Fenerbahce. One of the most promising young Turkish prospects of his generation, the teenage sensation was a revelation at Fenerbahce. But fitness issues have plagued him since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu in last summer’s transfer window.
The 18-year-old has spent most of the 2023/24 season on the sidelines due to persistent injury troubles. The youngster is yet to start a game for Real Madrid this season, managing only 92 minutes of game time across five appearances. But Guler’s stock remains high, with several clubs interested in taking him on loan in the summer transfer window.
Recent reports have linked him with many well-known clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan. But Real Madrid will prefer to loan him to a Spanish outfit in the summer transfer window. And a move across La Liga might be on the cards, with UD Las Palmas, RCD Mallorca, and Real Sociedad interested in him.
La Liga Loan on the Cards?
Real Sociedad and Real Madrid have a good working relationship, with La Real signing Takefusa Kubo and Martin Odegaard from Los Blancos in the past decade. So, it will not be surprising to see Arda Guler moving to the Reale Arena on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.
As for Las Palmas and Mallorca, the former might be a decent potential destination for Guler, considering the team’s progress this season in La Liga. Meanwhile, Mallorca and Real Madrid have a history in the market, but the Pirates are struggling to retain their status in the Spanish top flight.
All three clubs have their points of attraction for Guler and Real Madrid. With Los Blancos eager to loan the 18-year-old whizkid to a fellow La Liga team, it will be interesting to see where he lands this summer.
