Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on Adrien Rabiot.

A report from HITC claims that the two English clubs have already held talks with the midfielder’s representatives in recent months. It will be interesting to see if they can win the race for his signature.

The 28-year-old will be a free agent in the summer and he is expected to leave Juventus. There have been rumours of a potential contract extension but the two parties have not been able to secure an agreement so far.

Rabiot has proven himself in the Italian league with Juventus and he has excelled with his country at the international level as well. He was a key player as France reached the finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

He has the physicality and technical attributes to thrive in the Premier League as well and he could improve the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham immensely. Spurs need a midfield controller who will help out defensively and control the tempo of the game. Rabiot could form the ideal partnership with players like Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr.

He has the technical attributes to fit into Ange Postecoglou’s style of football as well. He will help Tottenham dominate proceedings in the middle of the park and his ability to move with the ball will help set up transitions.

As for Arsenal, they need a quality replacement for Thomas Partey. The 28-year-old French international could form a superb partnership with Declan Rice at the heart of the Arsenal midfield. The two clubs could face competition from the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle United as well.

Rabiot on a free would be a major bargain

It will be interesting to see where the French international ends up. Signing a player of his quality and experience on a free transfer would be a major coup for any side and the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham must do everything in their power to win the race for his signature.

The 28-year-old midfielder could be keen on accepting a new challenge at this stage of his career and a move to the Premier League will be an attractive opportunity for him. Arsenal and Tottenham are well placed to secure Champions League qualification for the next season and they will be attractive destinations for him.
