Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that Bayern Munich made a late attempt to sign Mykhailo Mudryk in the January transfer window. But Chelsea rejected an approach from them for the 23-year-old.
The Blues paid £89 million to sign the Ukrainian international winger. But he has not been able to live up to the expectations since moving to the Premier League. There have been rumours that Chelsea could look to cash in on him. However, it seems that the Blues are happy to hold on to him for now.
The 23-year-old winger has scored four goals across all competitions this season. He will need to improve his end product in order to thrive at a big club like Chelsea. The Blues will want to compete for major trophies in the coming seasons, and they need better players at their disposal.
