Arsenal are keen on having 23-year-old Portuguese international Pedro Neto in their ranks, the Gunners scouted him on Saturday.

According to a report by HITC, Arsenal are interested in acquiring the services of Pedro Neto. The 23-year-old winger has been doing wonders in the Premier League and top clubs from across Europe have their eyes on him. The Gunners have him on their radar and had recently sent scouts to watch him in action.

Neto joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2019, the 23-year-old has since gone from strength to strength. He has slowly established himself in the Wolves first-team and has over 120 appearances for the English club.

In the ongoing season, the Portuguese international has featured in 18 matches and he has contributed towards 13 goals. He has scored three and has bagged 10 assists so far this season. While he prefers playing on the right flank, Neto has been used as a striker, an attacking midfielder as well as on the left flank.

His versatility and impressive performances have resulted in interest from elsewhere. Arsenal are one of the clubs keen on having him in their ranks. While they do have Bukayo Saka in their ranks, they are looking for someone who can cover for him and bolster their attack as a whole.

Neto has the potential to be a special player and Mikel Arteta is keen on having him in their ranks. The Gunners have been scouting the 23-year-old for a while now. As per the report, scouts of the north London club were present at the Molineux Stadium to watch the Portuguese winger in action on Saturday.

Wolves took on Brentford at home, they started in a 3-4-2-1 formation with Neto as their striker. While they ended up losing 2-0, the former Lazio winger had a decent day on the field. He took three shots on goal, played three key passes and had a pass accuracy of 84%.

Arsenal have been growing as a team under Arteta and the addition of Neto can help them take the next step. The Gunners have continued their checks on the 23-year-old and are expected to make a move in the summer.
