The Danish international has been on their radar of late, and they were looking to sign him in the ongoing window but with that no longer possible, they have decided to return for him in the next summer window.
Christian Eriksen and his Resurgence
Eriksen revived himself at Brentford before securing a free transfer to Manchester United in the summer of 2022. In his debut season, he played a very important role in the centre of their park but of late, he has lost his place in the starting XI.
While the 31-year-old is still an important member of Erik ten Hag’s team, he has fallen down the pecking order. 18-year-old sensation Kobbie Mainoo has managed to cement his spot in the team alongside former Real Madrid star Casemiro.
The duo has been doing a great job and they seem to be the preferred choice under the Dutch manager. While Christian Eriksen has a contract that runs until the summer of 2025, his future is already the talk of the town.

Galatasaray are the club interested in the 31-year-old midfielder. The Turkish club are looking to bolster their midfield and have their eyes on Eriksen. They wanted to sign him in the ongoing window. But with the Turkish window all set to end on February 9, there is little confidence that a deal could be struck within the deadline.
While they have ruled out the possibility of a move in the winter, the Turkish club have not dropped their interest in the 31-year-old. They remain keen and feel he could be a great addition to their ranks. As a result, Galatasaray have decided to return for him in the summer of 2024. Since he will only have a year left on his deal, the Red Devils will prefer raising funds from his departure rather than losing out on him for free.
