Everton are keen on acquiring the services of the 28-year-old West Ham United left winger Said Benrahma.

According to a report by HITC, Everton are looking to reinforce their attack in the ongoing transfer window and they have their eyes on Said Benrahma. The 28-year-old is expected to be on the move before the end of the window and the Liverpool-based club could be his next destination.

Benrahma made a name for himself while playing for Brentford. Thanks to his impressive performances he earned a move to the Hammers towards the end of 2020. While it was an initial loan move, it was made permanent in the winter of 2021.

He has featured in a total of 155 matches for West Ham and has contributed towards 43 goals. The 28-year-old is capable enough to play multiple positions in attack as well as the midfield. He was an integral part of their first team until last season. But, the story hasn’t been the same in the 2023/24 season.

He has had 1200 minutes of footballing action in his 22 outings and only has an assist to show for it. While he still has over two years left on his deal, the Hammers are ready to sanction his exit. They have added Kalvin Phillips to their ranks in the ongoing window and now are hoping to move on a few of their players to make room in their squad.

Benrahma and Pablo Fornals are two players that West Ham are ready to part ways with. With West Ham ready to sanction the sale of the 28-year-old, Everton could be an ideal destination for him despite interest from elsewhere.

Loanee Arnaut Danjuma is expected to part ways with the Toffees before the end of the winter window. He is expected to complete a move to French club Lyon and is awaiting the green light to seal the switch to Ligue 1.

His departure will reduce the depth of their attack and they do need quality reinforcement as they look to survive in the top flight following the 10-point deduction they suffered earlier this season.

The Hammers have informed the Algerian international that he can leave this month. While they would prefer a permanent transfer, they are ready to sanction a loan move as well.
