Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all keen on having Bayern Munich sensation Jamal Musiala in their ranks.
According to a report by Fichajes, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all interested in Jamal Musiala. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder’s future at Bayern Munich is uncertain because of his contract situation, which has opened the doors for Premier League clubs who now want to test Bayern Munich’s resolve.
The Rise of Jamal Musiala
Musiala is amongst the best young players in world football, and there will always be interest in his services. But, this time out, there is a real possibility of him parting ways with Bayern Munich. The 20-year-old midfielder’s contract runs out in the summer of 2026. While Bayern are keen on extending it, they have not been able to find a common ground so far with the youngster.
With just over two years left on his deal, Bayern are trying to tie him down to a new deal. But, they have not found any success yet. The player is demanding a significant pay rise that reflects his talent and the Bundesliga champions are not ready to offer him that kind of money. As a result, speculation about a move to the Premier League is intensifying.
Premier League Calling?
Chelsea have been focused on signing young players with huge potential, and Musiala is an ideal fit for them. As a result, they are considering re-signing him. His arrival will be a big boost for them as he will help create more chances and will also contribute by scoring.
While Liverpool do not really play with a proper attacking midfielder, Jurgen Klopp can still make the best use of the 20-year-old to create chances for the star-studded attack that he has. Since Musiala can also play out wide on the left, he could surely fit into the Merseyside club’s system, thus justifying their interest.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are also interested in the 20-year-old, and he can be a great addition to their ranks. The German international will add a lot of quality. But, they do not really need an attacking midfielder or a left winger. As a result, it will be interesting to see if Arsenal make a move when the opportunity presents itself.
Bayern Munich will keep trying to pen him down to a new deal. But, if he doesn’t agree to it, then English clubs could push to sign him from the Bundesliga champions in the summer of 2024.
