Barcelona and Chelsea will need to pay €25 million to sign in-demand 25-year-old Greek striker Vangelis Pavlidis from AZ Alkmaar.
According to a report by Spanish outlet SPORT, Vangelis Pavlidis is a popular figure in the market. Barcelona and Chelsea are keen on signing the 25-year-old striker. Meanwhile, AZ Alkmaar will demand around €25 million to part ways with the in-demand attacker.

Vangelis Pavlidis has seen his stock soar since arriving in the Netherlands. A graduate of the VfL Bochum youth division, he could not become a prolific striker in Germany. But the move to AZ Alkmaar in July 2021 has transformed his fortunes, with the Greek international especially stepping up his performance levels this season.
The 25-year-old has led the charge for European qualification for AZ Alkmaar this season while excelling in the UEFA Europa Conference League. He has amassed 22 goals and three assists in 27 appearances thus far this term. Meanwhile, Pavlidis has captured the attention of several high-profile clubs with his exploits.
Many well-known Premier League clubs are keen on signing the AZ Alkmaar striker. Pavlidis is also attracting interest from Serie A heavyweights AC Milan. In addition, he is a target for Chelsea and Barcelona, with the two bigwigs among the front-runners to land him.
