Liverpool attacker Fabio Carvalho has returned to the club after they terminated his loan deal with RB Leipzig.
Fabio Carvalho is expected to leave Liverpool before the January transfer window closes. But a report from Football Insider has claimed that the Merseyside club will send him on loan but are unwilling to sell him permanently. The loan deal is unlikely to include a buy option either.

Fabio Carvalho is highly rated at the Premier League club, and they believe that he could be an important player for them in the coming seasons. They are not ready to part ways with the youngster on a permanent deal anytime soon.
However, the 21-year-old needs to play regularly to continue his development, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. The highly-rated midfielder was regarded as one of the best young talents in the country during his time at Fulham. But the move to Liverpool has not worked out for him and he has struggled for regular game time at Anfield.
He is versatile enough to operate as a winger as well as a central attacking midfielder. He could be a key player for a number of clubs. So, Liverpool must send him out on loan so that he can get his career back on track.
Clubs from the Championship, including Leicester City are reportedly keen on signing him. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. Carvalho joined RB Leipzig with the hope of playing regularly. But the loan spell at the Bundesliga club did not work out. He struggled for game time in the Bundesliga, and Liverpool’s decision to bring him back to the club seems like a wise move.
They need to find the ideal destination for him now where he can regain his form and confidence with regular first-team action. Carvalho is still only 21, and he has plenty of time to develop further and fulfil his tremendous potential. Liverpool could certainly use more depth in the attack, and the 21-year-old could be an important squad player for them in the coming seasons if they can nurture him properly.
