Chelsea Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing Paulo Dybala from AS Roma this month.
A report from Fichajes claims that Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to sign Paulo Dybala. The 30-year-old World Cup winner could be available on a bargain.
Paulo Dybala Available on the Cheap
A clause in the Argentine international’s contract would allow him to leave for €13 million this month. This release clause can only be triggered by foreign clubs, and Serie A outfits will have to pay a higher sum to secure his services.
Chelsea could certainly use a versatile forward like him. Summer signing Nicolas Jackson has been quite underwhelming, and Chelsea need a reliable goalscorer. Apart from Dybala’s ability to chip in with goals, he will help out creatively as well. He is versatile enough to operate as a winger as well as a centre-forward.
The World Cup winner has the experience and the quality to hit the ground running in the Premier League, and he could transform Chelsea in the final third. The Argentina international has four goals and six assists to his name across all competitions this season.
Similarly, Manchester United need someone who can take over the goalscoring burden for them. Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund have not been at their best this season. As for Tottenham, they chose not to replace Harry Kane with a world-class striker in the summer.
So, they have been overly reliant on Son Heung-min for goals. However, the South Korean international will be away for the Asian Cup, and Tottenham need someone to fill his void. Dybala could prove to be a quality acquisition for all three clubs, and signing a player of his quality and experience for the reported €13 million price could prove to be a masterstroke.
Premier League Calling?
The Argentine international has proven himself in Serie A, and he will look to make his mark in the Premier League now. He is at the peak of his career and a move to Chelsea, Manchester United or Tottenham could help him compete for trophies in England. In addition, clubs in England will be able to offer him a lucrative package. Dybala is likely to be tempted to move to the Premier League if there is a concrete proposal on the table.
