According to a report by TEAMtalk, Trevoh Chalobah is the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur. And the North London giants have contacted the entourage of the 24-year-old Chelsea utility man. Meanwhile, the Blues are ready to part ways with the versatile defender next year.
Trevoh Chalobah and the Rollercoaster Ride at Chelsea
Trevoh Chalobah is a graduate of Chelsea’s fabled Cobham youth division. The Englishman is a versatile defender who can play as a centre-back, a right-back, and a holding midfielder. He got his first-team breakthrough under the tutelage of Thomas Tuchel, who backed him to the hilt.
But Chalobah’s stock has fallen considerably since Tuchel departed from Stamford Bridge last year. The 24-year-old was in and out of the starting lineup under Graham Potter and Frank Lampard. Meanwhile, the player does not feature in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, with Chelsea ready to part ways with him.

While the North London giants do not have any Premier League-winning pedigree, they regularly feature in Europe. Compare that to what his other suitors, like Crystal Palace, can offer, and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium becomes an appealing destination.
