Manchester United are keen on signing VfB Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy, and they scouted the player in action on Sunday.

Serhou Guirassy was in action against Bayern Munich at the weekend, and Manchester United sent scouts to watch him. A report from 90min has also claimed that the player’s agents are hoping to secure a Premier League move for their client, and they have been in touch with clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Serhou Guirassy: A Prolific Striker

It will be interesting to see where the 27-year-old ends up eventually. He has been in spectacular form in the first half of the season, scoring 18 goals across all competitions. So, it is hardly surprising that Manchester United are interested in him.

The Bundesliga star has the quality to do well in the Premier League, and he could prove to be a useful addition for all three Premier League clubs. He has a release clause of £15 million in his contract, and he could be available for a bargain. However, his wage demands could be a concern.

Where Will Guirassy Land?

Manchester United need more quality in the final third, and summer signing Rasmus Hojlund has not been able to perform at a high level. Guirassy could prove to be a quality addition, and he could make an immediate impact. The 27-year-old is at the peak of his powers, and he has the ability to hit the ground running in the Premier League.

Manchester United have had a disappointing season so far. But they will be desperate to finish in the UEFA Champions League positions. Signing a quality striker could help them turn things around during the second half of the campaign and finish the season strongly.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are yet to replace Harry Kane properly, and they will look to bring in a reliable goalscorer. The 27-year-old Bundesliga star certainly fits the profile. As far as Arsenal are concerned, they have Gabriel Jesus at their disposal. But the Brazilian has failed to score goals consistently.

Arsenal need a reliable finisher and the 27-year-old could prove to be a quality partner for Jesus in the attack. Guirassy has shown his quality in Germany already, and he has nothing left to prove in the Bundesliga. A move to the Premier League will be an exciting new challenge for him at this stage of his career.
