Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has been offered to PSG for a January move, with the French outfit reportedly keen on securing his services.

Manchester United signed Casemiro for a fee of around £70 million from Real Madrid, and he was quite impressive for them last season. However, the Red Devils are ready to cash in on him now on the back of some mediocre performances this season as per Le10Sport, who claim he has been offered to PSG.

Casemiro on His Way Out of Manchester United?

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can recoup most of what they paid for the Brazilian international. He was a world-class player during his time at Real Madrid, helping them win several major trophies. He was expected to help Manchester United challenge for the league title, but that has clearly not worked out. However, he did help them win the EFL Cup last term.

Casemiro could be attracted to the idea of playing for PSG during the second half of the campaign. Les Parisiens are one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and they have the financial resources to offer him a lucrative deal as well. PSG have a talented squad, and they could easily compete for major trophies as well.

As for Manchester United, it remains to be seen whether they can bring in the necessary replacements before letting the player leave. Casemiro, Sofyan Amrabat and Scott McTominay are the only midfielders at the club with defensive qualities, and Manchester United cannot afford to let the Brazilian leave without bringing in a quality alternative.

It has been a poor season for Manchester United by their standards, and they will be desperate to bounce back during the second half of the season. It is evident that they need to improve their squad in January. Signing a quality central midfielder and a striker should be a top priority for them.

Meanwhile, selling Casemiro might not be a major issue for them. But finding a quality replacement midway through the season could be difficult. Most clubs will not want to sell key players in January. It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds over the next few weeks.
