Tottenham Hotspur look all set to cash in on their 26-year-old Brazilian forward Richarlison in the upcoming transfer window.

According to a report by Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to part ways with Richarlison in the upcoming window. While Spurs were keen on keeping him in their ranks, they seemed to have changed their stance on his future. They are ready to cash in on the 26-year-old amidst interest from clubs in the Middle East.

Richarlison joined Spurs in the summer of 2022 after proving himself in the English top flight with Everton. The London club paid a reported fee of £60 million for his services. But, the move hasn’t worked out well for all parties involved.

Since making the move to Tottenham, the Brazil international has scored just five goals in 48 appearances. A lot was expected from the 26-year-old but he has failed to deliver so far. In the ongoing season, he has featured in 13 matches but only has two goals and three assists to his name.

Ange Postecoglou prefers playing Heung-Min Son as the sole striker. As a result, Richarlison’s game time has also gone down. While his contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to part ways. They are looking to cash in on him with Saudi Pro League clubs keen on his services.

Clubs from the Middle East are ready to go big to make him their next star signing after having already signed multiple stars from Europe. While Spurs were not ready to negotiate his departure a few weeks back, they are now ready to cash in on the 26-year-old.

His departure will raise significant funds which could be used to boost their squad in the winter window. Spurs have been hit by an injury crisis which has halted their progress and their manager Postecoglou is keen on reinforcement to ensure his project remains on track.

The London club do not have much depth in their ranks and the money that comes in from the 26-year-old’s sale could be a significant boost. While Spurs are ready to part ways, it will be interesting to see if Richarlison wants to move to the Middle East this early in his career.
