Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur are ready to table an offer for the services of 23-year-old Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
According to a report by TVplay, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on having Dusan Vlahovic in their ranks. The 23-year-old striker has been on their radar for a while now and they are all set to table an offer for the Serbian international’s services.
Vlahovic joined Juventus in the winter of 2022 after proving himself in the Italian top flight with Fiorentina. He didn’t really have the best of starts to life in Turin. The 23-year-old did a decent job but he couldn’t meet the club’s expectations.
Juventus were ready to part ways with the Serbian international during the summer transfer window. But, they decided to keep him given the unsatisfactory offers. While Vlahovic has had a decent season so far with five goals and one assist in 12 league outings, he is still not the preferred choice under Massimiliano Allegri.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs that have been monitoring him for a long while. They were interested in him last summer but could not strike a deal for his services. However, they are all set to return for his services next summer and this time they are planning to table a massive offer for the 23-year-old’s signatures.
Spurs parted ways with their record goalscorer Harry Kane in the summer and are yet to sign a replacement. While they are doing a great job in the attacking third in the ongoing season, they do need more firepower if they want to challenge for major titles.
As a result, they are planning to sign Dusan Vlahovic ahead of next season. The London club are ready to fork out around €80 million to land him at the club. An offer that will surely force Juventus to think about the sale of the Serbian striker.
And, in order to convince the player, Spurs are ready to offer him a salary of €15 million net per season. They already have a serious project at hand under Ange Postecoglou, as a result, their offer will surely make Vlahovic consider the idea of continuing his career in England.
