Liverpool are keen on Juventus prodigy Kenan Yildiz, with the Turkish talent’s impressive start in Turin attracting more attention.

According to Fichajes, Liverpool are interested in Kenan Yildiz, the 18-year-old Juventus prodigy. Jurgen Klopp remains open to adding more young talents to his ranks in future windows, as the Merseysiders could attempt to sign the rising Turkish star.

Liverpool are in the market for some key first-team stars as Jurgen Klopp continues with his rebuild. Ahead of the January window, the Merseysiders have many objectives when it comes to player acquisition, which could let the German search for a defender on priority.

They are also intending to buy another midfielder despite a raft of arrivals during the summer. They might also have to dip into the market for a high-profile attacker if Mohamed Salah ends up leaving in January or in the summer.

They are also active in the market for young, up-and-coming players. Liverpool have never hoarded a host of prodigious talents but rather have carefully sorted out their targets and brought them to the club. Some stars like Harvey Elliott have achieved success, but others like Fabio Carvalho have failed to make the grade.

Liverpool are constantly looking for players they can sign that could gradually become stars of tomorrow. Now, they have set sights on 18-year-old Juventus prodigy Kenan Yildiz. The Turkish star has instantly made an impact in Massimiliano Allegri’s side, appearing five times in Serie A this term.

Liverpool sporting director, Jorg Schmadtke, has reporteldy kept an eye out for the 18-year-old Juventus prodigy since his days at Bayern Munich. Juventus only signed him during the summer, but financial pressure and the need to reinforce their squad with more experienced personnel could see them sell Yildiz.

As per a report from Turkish Football, Arsenal are also keen, but so far, it appears Liverpool are the one looking to work with Juventus for the youngster. The Merseysiders are also in for other young talents from around, with young midfielder Arthur Vermeeren also on their list.

Blackburn star Adam Wharton is also something they like, but any transfer activity for young players in January will depend on the finances involved. Someone like Wharton would cost dearly, although Yildiz could come in for a relatively low fee, considering his current value, as per Transfermarket, only stands at 1 million.

Juventus will obviously look for a decent fee in return, but if Yildiz continues to perform this month, his price point could see a massive rise.
