Juventus are lining up a double-raid for out-of-favour Manchester United ruo Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek ahead of January.

According to Team Talk, Juventus have set sights on out-of-favour duo Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek. Manchester United are open to letting the two unwanted stars leave in January. Still, the Bianconeri will have to work their way to convincing the Red Devils on terms that would suit the Italians.

Erik Ten Hag has shown this season he can operate with an iron fist when it comes to controlling some of his players. Since the campaign began, he has fallen out with star signing Jadon Sancho, and recently, some stories suggested there are some problems with Raphael Varane as well.

As for the Sancho situation, nothing has changed since the end of August when he had a public fallout with Ten Hag. The winger has not apologised to the manager, which has stagnated his situation at Manchester United, with the club now resigned to let him leave in January.

There have been a lot of rumours surrounding Sancho and his next club, with some stories suggesting he preferred a return to Borussia Dortmund. The problem is that there is space in their squad and the funds available to the club to bring Sancho back into their ranks.

Manchester United are keen to recoup at least £50 million for the winger, but there are doubts whether they will get anywhere close to that figure. The report talks about Juventus plotting a £30 million move for the winger, which would make sense considering he has barely played since August.

Public knowledge of his fallout and the club’s desire to sell them gives Juventus the onus in the chase, and hence, they are optimistic about landing Sancho. The report states the Bianconeri might launch a £30 million offer in January, and the bid will come as a pre-cursor to another move on their minds.

Juventus are also interested in unwanted midfielder Donny van de Beek, who remains free to leave Manchester United. The Dutchman has been underwhelmed since making his £40 million move, of which the Red Devils paid an initial £35 million fee.

Van de Beek could have moved to Real Sociedad in the summer, but the two clubs could not reach an agreement. The Spanish side are still keen and could jeopardise Juventus’ plans to sign the Dutchman. The Bianconeri are short of midfield depth after the bans received by Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli.

Their other targets, like Thomas Partey and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, could stay put at their respective clubs, which could force Juventus to look for alternatives. Van de Beek, considering he hasn’t played a whole lot of football recently, will come across as a squad option to fill the depth.

While Manchester United are keen on a permanent transfer for Van de Beek, Juventus are hoping to make an offer for Sancho and then start loan talks for the Dutchman. A loan with an obligation to buy would sort out a deal, but the Bianconeri are likely to make an offer with an option to purchase in the summer.
