The attacking midfielder has featured in 68 matches for the Belgian club and has contributed towards 11 goals. In the ongoing season, he has four goal contributions in his 15 league games. While his numbers are average, his overall gameplay is what makes him a huge prospect for the future.

Ange Postecoglou has done a great job since taking charge of the London club. But, he is well aware of the fact that they lack depth. As a result, the Australian boss is keen on reinforcement. Their over-reliance on James Maddison is quite clear and it is one of the reasons why the former Celtic boss wants to add more firepower to attack.

El Khannouss is someone who can help their cause. The 19-year-old is an attacking midfielder, he can help cover for Maddison and even start out wide if needed. Spurs are keeping a close eye on the Moroccan international and could soon make a move for his services.

The teenage sensation’s contract with the Belgian club runs until the summer of 2027 and they will have the upper hand in the negotiations. Meanwhile, the Moroccan midfielder will cost a minimum of 18 million according to the report. While Spurs are keen on having him in their ranks, the final say will be on Genk.
