The Danish international’s contract with the Red Devils runs out in the summer of 2025. And, with just over 18 months left on his deal, clubs are keeping a close eye on his situation at the Manchester-based club. There is a lot of interest from Saudi Arabia in particular.

Clubs from the Saudi Pro League want to bring the 31-year-old to the Middle East. They feel he still has a few years left at the very top and want him to be their next star signing. Several SPL clubs are keen and willing to pay €20 million for his services.

Meanwhile, Manchester United do have numerous options in the centre of the park. But, they could still look to sign another midfielder in the summer. While Eriksen is a key part of their first team at this stage, they could still look to cash in on him given that he is in the twilight of his career and his contract runs out in 18 months’ time.
