Manchester United are keen on acquiring the services of the 23-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Pedro Neto.

According to a report by Fichajes, Manchester United are keen on having Pedro Neto in their ranks. The Red Devils are looking to bolster their attack in the winter transfer window after a disappointing start to the new season, and they have their eyes set on the 23-year-old Wolves sensation. They view the in-form attacker as an alternative to the struggling Antony.

Neto joined Wolves in the summer of 2019 from Lazio. He has since gone from strength to strength. The Portuguese international has featured in a total of 121 matches for the English club and has contributed towards 32 goals.

In the initial years, he was not regular or prolific for Wolves. But of late, he has been one of the mainstays of the team. The 23-year-old’s impressive performances in the recent past have attracted a lot of attention.

He is on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in the world, and Manchester United are one of them. The Red Devils do have quite a star forwards in their ranks but they have not been performing at levels expected.

While the attack as a whole has not been at its best, Antony’s form has been the biggest headache. They had spent a fortune on acquiring his services in the summer of 2022. But things have not gone according to plan thus far.

The former Ajax winger has failed to deliver since making the move. While his first season was decent, in the ongoing campaign, he is yet to make a goal contribution. Manchester United are even considering parting ways with him. Irrespective of what the Brazil international’s future holds, the Red Devils are looking for attacking reinforcement.

Neto is one of the names on their radar. The 23-year-old is versatile in nature and can feature in the centre as well as out wide on the flanks. And, his versatility and experience playing in the Premier League are what make him a very attractive option for the Manchester-based club.

They need reinforcement in the winter and will look to push for the Portuguese international who has a contract with Wolves until the summer of 2027. But, it won’t be easy to acquire his services as Wolves with demand a significant sum, and there are other clubs in the race as well.
