Manchester United will have to battle it out with PSG and Juventus for the services of 24-year-old AS Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.

According to a report by Calciomercato, Manchester United are keen on having Youssouf Fofana in their ranks. The Red Devils want to bolster their midfield in the winter, and the 24-year-old is at the top of their shopping list. But, they are not the only ones interested in him, even Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus would love to have the €30 million-rated Frenchman in their ranks.

Fofana came through the ranks at RC Strasbourg before joining AS Monaco in the winter of 2020. He has gone from strength to strength over the past few years. The 24-year-old has featured in a total of 152 matches for the French club and has even contributed towards 17 goals.

His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed and there is a lot of interest in the services of the French international. With his contract running out in the summer of 2025, Monaco could look to cash in on him in the winter transfer window.

Manchester United are one of the clubs keen on having him in their ranks. The Red Devils are looking to reinforce their midfield in the winter. Their summer signing Mason Mount has struggled with injuries, while Donny van de Beek is no longer in the plans of Erik ten Hag’s plans. As a result, they want to incorporate a new midfielder into the mix in January.

While Manchester United are looking to revolutionise their midfield by signing Fofana, they will have to battle it out with Juventus and PSG. The Italian giants have suffered a huge blow in the recent past as Nicolo Fagioli has been banned for illegal betting, and Paul Pogba is all set to be handed a long-term ban for doping.

As a result, the Bianconeri want to reinforce their midfield, and they have their eyes on the French international, who has put in impressive shifts of late. Juventus have already started making moves and are leading the race at this stage.

Even PSG are keen on having him in their ranks. The French club want to add more depth to their ranks and want to sign the 24-year-old star in the winter. But, it won’t be easy to land him at the club as there is a lot of interest in his services. Meanwhile, Monaco are expected to look for a minimum of €30 million to part ways with the French international.
