Meanwhile, Chelsea have spent millions on new signings since their takeover by Todd Boehly. They have targeted young players throughout the last few transfer windows. In the summer, they decided to push for a new goalkeeper.

Sanchez was signed to be their new number onem and they acquired the services of Đorđe Petrović to be his deputy. Since the start of the new season, the former Brighton keeper has featured in 15 matches and he has only kept five clean sheets.
The 25-year-old has not lived up to the expectations, conceding 17 goals so far. And, there have been a few major errors from his side. As a result, the Blues are considering parting ways with him in the winter.
Chelsea are struggling in the ongoing season, and they are looking to address the issues existing in their squad by making the necessary signings. The Blues feel they need a better shot-stopper. As a result, they are looking to sign a new goalkeeper in the winter window.
Meanwhile, Sanchez has a long-term contract with the West London club. His deal runs until the summer of 2030, which does make things difficult. While the Blues would love to recoup the €30 million invested while bringing him to the club, his long-term contract suggests that he could initially leave on a short loan.
There are quite a few clubs that will surely be interested in the services of the 25-year-old Spanish international. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see which goalkeeper the Blues end up pushing for.
