Saudi Pro League clubs are interested in acquiring the services of 23-year-old Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho.

According to a report by Daily Telegraph, Saudi Pro League clubs are keen on having Jadon Sancho in their ranks. The 23-year-old England international has fallen out of favour at Manchester United and is expected to be on the move in the winter transfer window.

Jadon Sancho joined Manchester United in the summer of 2021 in a big-money move from Borussia Dortmund. The 23-year-old was amongst the best young talents in world football, and he was expected to take the Red Devils’ attack to another level. But, things haven’t gone according to plan for the former Dortmund star since making the move to Manchester United.

He has struggled to get going and hasn’t had the kind of impact everyone expected. Things have gone from bad to worse in the ongoing season. Sancho has had a public fallout with Erik ten Hag. The England international accused his manager of lying about the reason for his absence from Manchester United’s 3-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal.

Post that, he has been exiled from the Manchester United first team for refusing to make a public apology and has not featured in a single game since August. With Sancho no longer in their plans, Manchester United will look to recoup a part of what they had invested in signing him a few years back.

Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League clubs are keen on having him in their ranks, and Manchester United could surely look to cash in on such an opportunity. There was interest from the Middle East during the summer. Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq wanted to sign him, but Sancho was not interested in making a move back then.

While Al-Ettifaq are no longer interested in the 23-year-old, the report suggests that there are other PIF-controlled clubs, who would love to have the England international in their ranks. The Saudi Pro League have already signed quite a few stars from Europe, and they are looking to execute something similar in the winter.

They would have loved to sign their long-term target Mohammed Salah in the winter, but that looks unlikely. However, they are still determined to bring more stars to their league, and Sancho can surely be a great addition. But, it will be interesting to see if they can convince him about a move to the Middle East because he did reject the opportunity in the summer.
