Brazilian midfielder Andre Trindade has been linked with a move away from Fluminense ahead of the January transfer window.

A report from 90min has claimed that Fluminense expect to sell Andre Trindade in January. Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the 22-year-old and should certainly be encouraged by the latest development.

Andre has been a key player for the Brazilian club, and he could prove to be a solid, long-term investment for all three English clubs. Arsenal need to bring in a quality, long-term replacement for Thomas Partey, who might leave in January. And the 22-year-old seems like the ideal acquisition.

He could form a quality partnership with Declan Rice at the heart of Arsenal’s midfield. He is likely to improve with coaching and experience, and the 22-year-old could develop into a world-class player with the right guidance. Mikel Arteta has done well to nurture talented young players, and he could play a key role in his development.

Meanwhile, Liverpool need to sign a quality replacement for Fabinho, who left the club during the summer transfer window. The Reds are crying out for a specialist defensive midfielder, and Andre will help protect the defensive unit and break up opposition attacks for them. But recent reports have claimed that the Reds have walked away from the deal to sign the youngster.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur could lose Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the coming months, and they will have to replace the Danish international adequately. The 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder would be a quality acquisition for all three clubs, and he would fit into their style of play as well.

All three clubs prefer free-flowing attacking football and they need a specialist defensive midfielder like him who can win the ball high up the pitch and protect the central defence. It will be interesting to see which of Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham come forward with an official proposal to sign the player.
