Charlie Patino has been linked with a move away from Arsenal in recent months, with Serie A giants Juventus keen.

A report from Calciomercato has claimed that Serie A giants Juventus are keen on signing 20-year-old Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino. The Gunners will demand a fee of around €30 million to part ways with him.

The youngster is highly rated in English football and he has a big future ahead of him. He could prove to be a quality long-term acquisition for the Italian club if they manage to secure his services. Recent reports have also linked him with Real Sociedad.

Patino is a prodigious talent, and he could develop into an important first-team player for Juventus with coaching and guidance. The reported €30 million asking price could look like a bargain in the long run if he manages to fulfil his potential at the Italian club.

It will be interesting to see if Juventus are prepared to play the reported asking price for the midfielder. The 20-year-old needs to play regularly at this stage of his career. So, if Arsenal cannot provide him with that platform, he should look to leave the club in the near future.

Regular football at Juventus could accelerate his development and help him fulfil his tremendous potential. The midfielder should look to seek game-time assurances before making the move to the Italian club.

Ideally, Arsenal will want to hold on to a prized young prospect like Patino. But they could be powerless to stop him from leaving if they cannot give him game-time assurances and there is a lucrative offer on the table.

Arsenal already have a number of talented young midfielders on their roster, and the likes of Patino and Emile Smith Rowe have been linked with an exit. Regular football at Arsenal could be difficult for the 20-year-old, and he might need to seek a move elsewhere in order to play more often.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few months and whether Juventus come forward with an official proposal to sign the talented youngster in January. A club of their resources should be able to pay the €30 million asking price if they are truly interested in him.
