Arsenal, Tottenham, and Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing 22-year-old Sporting CP forward Geny Catamo.

A report from Football Transfers has claimed that Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Aston Villa are tracking 22-year-old African forward Geny Catamo and that they could look to make a move for him in the coming months.

Catamo might leave the Portuguese club during the January transfer window. But it remains to be seen whether Arsenal, Tottenham, and Aston Villa come forward with a concrete proposal to sign him.

The 22-year-old is naturally a right-sided winger. But he is versatile enough to operate on the left flank as well. Arsenal could certainly use someone like him in their side. Mikel Arteta has had to overuse the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in recent seasons.

Arsenal thus need to bring in players who can step up in their absence so that Arteta can rotate his key players. The opportunity to join the North London club will be an attractive proposition for the Sporting CP winger, and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal can agree on a fee with his club now.

Similarly, Tottenham could use some depth in their attack as well. Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic are both sidelined with injuries. So, signing a quality winger could prove to be a wise decision. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can compete with Arsenal and secure his signature.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa could look to part ways with Bertrand Traore in the coming months, and they will have to bring in adequate replacements. Unai Emery is looking to put together a side capable of challenging for European football on a regular basis, and the 22-year-old Sporting CP winger could be a quality fit for his side.

All three clubs could prove to be exciting destinations for the winger, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up. Arsenal and Tottenham might be able to provide him with Champions League football next season, and they are likely to be more attractive destinations on paper. He will want to play for the biggest clubs capable of winning the major trophies.
