Al Nassr have made contact with Kevin De Bruyne to explain their long-term project and explore the idea of signing the 30-year-old star.
According to Rudy Galetti, Al Nassr are in contact with Kevin De Bruyne over a future move. The Saudi Pro League side are ready to make an ambitious approach for the 30-year-old star if the player side encourages them. In this sage, all eyes will be on Manchester City.
The Saudi Pro League made a big mark on the transfer market during the summer, signing some notable names while failing with others. They started their evening spree with the arrival of Portuguese superstar Ronaldo and have big ideas for the future with the prospective signing of Mohamed Salah from Liverpool.
Al Ittihad failed with a mammoth offer for the Liverpool star but could return with a fresh offer in January or next summer. Now, fellow Saudi side Al Nassr are targetting a superstar name of their own in the Premier League, with links to Manchester City man Kevin De Bruyne.
Back in the summer, Fabrizio Romano confirmed De Bruyne received offers from Saudi but chose to stay in England. As things stand, the 30-year-old star has no interest in leaving Manchester City, as he remains a vital part of Pep Guardiola’s plans.

With his contract expiring in the summer of 2025, talk of a new deal has rumbled on for a while now. Some reports suggested Manchester City will wait until De Bruyne recovers before opening talks over a lucrative new contract.
Another story insisted that they might not offer him a new contract, as there’s no proper credible information on his future at the club. In any case, Al Nassr are putting in the groundwork to find a way to convince the 30-year-old star to sign for their club.
As per Rudy Galetti, Al Nassr have already made contact with De Bruyne’s camp to try and explain their long-term ideas with the Belgian on board. They might make an approach to Manchester City if they receive encouragement from the player’s side.
One would certainly expect offers like Al Ittihad made for Salah. Hence, from Manchester City’s perspective, they could re-think his contract situation and cash in. For now, the 30-year-old star remains an integral part of the team. Currently, he continues to recover from a serious hamstring injury ahead of a return in January.
