According to a report by Football Transfers, Manchester United are keen on having Takefusa Kubo in their ranks. The 22-year-old winger has been in sensational form of late, and there is a lot of interest in services from across Europe.

Kubo became the talk of the town while he played for FC Tokyo in Japan. There was a lot of interest in his services from clubs across Europe. Eventually, Real Madrid acquired his services in the summer of 2019. But, things never really worked out for him at the club, and he ended up joining Real Sociedad last year for a fee of just €6.5 million.

He has gone from strength to strength since joining Real Sociedad. He had an exceptional debut season last time out and has carried his form into the new season. In his eight league outings this season, he has contributed towards six goals.

The 22-year-old right winger’s performances have not gone unnoticed. Some of the biggest clubs across Europe are keeping a close eye on him and could push for his services in the near future.

Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in the Japanese international. They had recently sent scouts to watch him action. Erik ten Hag asked the United scouts to be present in the stands for the Real Sociedad vs RCD Mallorca fixture.

The scouts were assigned the task of monitoring Kubo along with Martin Zubimendi. They are keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old as they look for a Jadon Sancho replacement. The England international has had a public fallout with ten Hag. And, he has been dropped from the squad since.

Sancho will most likely be sold in the winter, and the Red Devils will need a capable replacement. Ten Hag feels Kubo could be a great addition as he can fill the void left by Sancho. The 22-year-old could feature on either wing and when needed he can even play as an attacking midfielder.
