Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has been linked with a move away from the club.

The former Manchester United manager has previously signed Chris Smalling and it remains to be seen whether the Portuguese tactician is ready to accommodate another Ex-Manchester United player.
Maguire has previously shown his quality in the Premier League with Leicester City and his performances convinced the Red Devils to pay £80 million for him.
However, he has not been able to live up to the expectations since he moved to Old Trafford and the transfer has been an underwhelming investment. Manchester United should look to cut their losses on him and invest in a younger player with higher potential now.
Maguire already finds himself behind the likes of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez in the pecking order.
A move to Italy could help him play more often and it could help him regain his confidence and sharpness. The 30-year-old could be a useful player for Roma and the lower intensity of Italian football could be a good fit for him. Furthermore, Jose Mourinho’s conservative approach could be ideal for a player who lacks recovery pace.
Manchester United will be aware of the fact that they cannot recoup the money they paid for the player and they will have to accept a substantial loss on him. It remains to be seen whether they can agree on a reasonable price with Roma before the January transfer window opens.
