Everton are interested in acquiring the services of 18-year-old Brazilian attacking prodigy Wesley Gassova from Corinthians.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Everton are keen on having Wesley Gassova in their ranks. The Merseyside club have not been at their best for a while now, and they are looking to revive themselves with strategic investments into the club over the next few transfer window.
Everton somehow managed to survive relegation last season. Post that, they did sign a few players in the summer transfer window. But, nothing has changed and have been expected to struggle this term. They are 16th on the points table in the 2023-24 season with seven points in their eight outings.

According to the report, they will look to expand their scouting network and focus more on young South American players. 777 already own Vasco da Gama in the Brazilian Serie A, and they will look to make most of the contacts they have in the South American nation.
One of the players on their list at this point in time is Corinthians winger Wesley Gassova. The teenager has come through the ranks at Corinthians and was promoted to their first team earlier this year. He has since gone from strength to strength and has attracted a lot of attention.
The teenage sensation penned down a new deal with the Brazilian club back in August, and his new contract runs until the summer of 2027. However, there is a European release clause worth just £10 million. And, Everton are looking to make full use of it and sign the left winger.
While multiple reports suggest that the English club have already established contacts with the Brazilian sensation’s representatives, the reality is that they have not made any moves yet. But, the Toffees could do so in the near future. However, they are not the only club keen on having him in their ranks.
The Merseyside club do not have much depth in attack and would welcome such an addition. He will add depth and could turn out to be a great option for the present as well as the future.
