Manchester United are interested in acquiring the services of 23-year-old Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi.
According to a report by South London News, Manchester United are keen on having Marc Guehi in their ranks. The Red Devils have been closely monitoring the 23-year-old for a while now and could make a move for his services in the summer of 2024. The Crystal Palace defender is valued at £50 million by the Eagles.
Guehi came through the ranks at Chelsea and he made it to their first team in the winter of 2020. Post that, he had two loan spells at Swansea City. Despite his impressive loan spells, there was no place for him in the Blues’ first team. They ended up offloading him in the summer of 2021.
But, Chelsea could move in and acquire his services in the future because of a clause that exists in the contract. The West London club hold the right to match any offer that the Eagles accept for the 23-year-old centre-back.
Since joining Crystal Palace, Guehi has featured in a total of 91 matches. He has established himself as a first-team regular and is a key member in the heart of the defence alongside Joachim Andersen.
The 23-year-old has almost three years left on his deal with the Eagles. But he could be on the move next summer given the amount of interest in his services. He is on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in England.
