Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are all set to battle it out for the services of 20-year-old Norwich City sensation Jonathan Rowe.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are keen on having Jonathan Rowe in their ranks. The 20-year-old sensation has been on fire in the ongoing season, and he has attracted a lot of attention from Premier League clubs.

Rowe has been a part of the Norwich City setup since his childhood days. He has come up the ranks at the club at some pace. The 20-year-old made it to their first team back in the winter of 2022 but he had already featured for this senior team in the Premier League during the 2021/22 season.

The England youth international featured in a total of 13 Premier League games that season and even bagged an assist. Rowe did not have much of a say as his club ended up getting relegated. He was expected to have an extended run in their first team last season. But the 20-year-old ended up getting injured.

He featured in just three Championship games all season and was on the pitch for a total of 92 minutes. Rowe managed to get into shape in time for the new season and he has been given an extended run under the leadership of David Wagner.

Rowe already has nine goal contributions in his 13 outings this season. He has been on fire and has been used in multiple positions in attack as well as in the centre of the park. The 20-year-old’s impressive performances have caught the eye of Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.

Aston Villa are looking to add young players to the mix. They do have some quality wingers but Unai Emery wants more depth, and he feels the England youth international could be a great investment.

Meanwhile, the Eagles do not just want much depth in attack. They are looking to add someone who can make them a lot more threatening going forward, and Rowe seems to be a great fit for them.

His versatility will be a great bonus for both clubs. While both Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are ready to battle it out for his services, Norwich do not want to miss out on him. They want him to stay at Carrow Road. As a result, they are looking to offer him a new deal with improved terms to keep him at the club for a few more years.
