Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing 24-year-old Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi in 2024.

A report from Fichajes claims that Martin Zubimendi has a €60 million release clause. And Manchester United are hoping to sign the Spanish international from Real Sociedad next year.

The Premier League giants are currently missing a quality central midfielder who can stitch the play together and control the tempo of the game. They have a quality box-to-box midfielder in Sofyan Amrabat and an experienced defensive midfielder in Casemiro. Someone like Zubimendi could complete their midfield unit.

Erik ten Hag has previously tried to sign a quality central midfielder, but they failed to convince the Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong to join the club. It will be interesting to see if they can convince Martin Zubimendi to move to Old Trafford at the end of the season.

It is fair to assume that a transfer in January is unlikely. The 24-year-old is a key player for Real Sociedad, and the Spanish outfit will not want to sanction his departure midway through the season. Meanwhile, he is also a target for other top clubs like Arsenal.

Manchester United certainly have the financial resources to pay €60 million for the player. But it remains to be seen whether they can get the deal done. The 24-year-old has established himself as one of the best midfielders in La Liga, and he could be looking to take the next step in his career. A move to Manchester United could be an exciting opportunity for him.

Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and they have the ambition to compete for major trophies. Zubimendi could be tempted to join them if there is a concrete offer on the table. He will look to compete for major trophies with them.

The reported €60 million asking price is quite reasonable in today’s market for a player of his ability, and the 24-year-old is likely to improve with coaching and experience. He could easily justify the investment in the long run and establish himself as an indispensable asset for Manchester United in the years to come.
