Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the services of the 22-year-old Feyenoord midfield sensation Quinten Timber.

According to Graeme Bailey via the Talking Transfers Podcast, Tottenham Hotspur could push for the services of Quinten Timber in the near future. The 22-year-old midfielder has been in sensational form of late, and the North London club are keeping a close eye on him.

Timber was a part of the Feyenoord youth academy back in the day. But, he left the club and joined Ajax in 2014. After coming through the ranks at Ajax, he joined FC Utrecht in the summer of 2021. His impressive performances in the 2021/22 season made sure Feyenoord brought him back to the club last summer.

After his return to the club ahead of the 2022/23 season, he featured in a total of 31 matches and racked up over 2,200 minutes. He even contributed towards six goals. The 22-year-old midfielder has carried his form into the new season. He already has four goal contributions in ten matches.

His impressive performances for the Dutch club have not gone unnoticed, with quite a few top clubs from England closely monitoring him. And they could push for his services in the near future. While his contract with Feyenoord runs until the summer of 2026, he is expected to join a bigger club sooner rather than later.

Tottenham are one of the clubs keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old. Spurs are off to a great start in the new season but their new manager Ange Postecoglou is still looking for further reinforcement. The Australian manager feels they need more depth in the centre of the park, and he would love to have Timber in his ranks.

Bailey while on the Talking Transfers Podcast said, “I like Quintin Timber in this role, and so do the teams who have been watching Feyenoord, the likes of Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Tottenham, Arsenal, they have all been very impressed by this young lad, he’s more a midfielder than his twin brother, so let’s keep an eye on him, could we see Timber’s brother in England? I wouldn’t rule it out.”

The North London club have been scouting the Dutch youth international for quite some time. They feel he could be a great addition to their ranks. He is someone who can feature as a defensive as well as an attacking midfielder, and his arrival will surely bolster their midfield. But, they are not the only club interested. There are other English clubs who have been monitoring him and they could push Spurs all the way for his signatures.
