Liverpool have agreed on a new deal with their 24-year-old full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, total package is worth over £55 million.
According to a report by Football Insider, Trent Alexander-Arnold will soon pen down a new deal with his childhood club Liverpool. The 24-year-old full-back had already reached an agreement in principle with the Merseyside club over a new contract and has now agreed on a package worth over £55 million.
Alexander-Arnold has been at Liverpool all his life. He came through the ranks at the club and made it to their first team back in the summer of 2016. The England international has gone from strength to strength with every passing year and has managed to establish himself as one of the mainstays of Jurgen Klopp’s team.
Over the years he has featured in 278 matches and has contributed towards 89 goals. He has helped the Merseyside club win the Premier League as well as the Champions League along with a few other trophies.
The 24-year-old is amongst the best-attacking full-backs in the world. As a result, Liverpool have no intention of letting him leave and want to have him in their ranks for years to come. Even the player is committed to the project and has no intentions of leaving.
With his contract running out in 2025, Liverpool are keen on penning down a new deal with the 24-year-old. They want to secure his future for the long run and have been involved in talks with his agents for a while now.
