Barcelona tracking Jadon Sancho situation, considering January loan move

Barcelona are reportedly tracking Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, who has been banished at Old Trafford.

Jadon Sancho has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, and Barcelona are hoping to sign him on loan during the January window. Now, a report from Fichajes has claimed that the Blaugrana are currently monitoring his situation at Manchester United.

The English winger has fallen out of favour with Erik ten Hag and has been ordered to train a train away from the first team. Sancho has not been able to live up to the expectations since his €85 million move to Old Trafford, and he needs to leave Manchester to play regular first-team football.

A move to Barcelona could be ideal for him if they are willing to offer him regular game time. Sancho needs to play more often at this stage of his career, and it remains to be seen whether the Catalan outfit are prepared to provide him with that option.

Barcelona need to add quality in the wide areas, especially after the departure of Ousmane Dembele. And the Manchester United flop could be a useful player for them if he manages to recapture his confidence and form.

Manchester United should look to cut their losses on the 23-year-old if they do not intend to use him in the coming months. The Red Devils need more quality in the wide areas, and it remains to be seen whether they decide to invest in a new winger after sanctioning the departure of Sancho in January.

Barcelona are going through financial difficulties right now, and signing the 23-year-old on loan would be ideal for them as well. He will add more depth and cutting edge in the final third despite his struggles for Manchester United.

The Blaugrana will be hoping to challenge for the league title once again. They need a quality squad in order to match up to Real Madrid. In addition, they will hope to do well in the Champions League. Meanwhile, the opportunity to play for a big club like Barcelona can be hard to turn down for any player, and Sancho is likely to be tempted to move to Catalonia.
