Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.

Donny van de Beek has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, and he needs to leave in order to get his career back on track. A report from Fichajes claims that Inter Milan are now considering a January move for the Manchester United flop.

Donny van de Beek has not been able to live up to the expectations since his move to Manchester United from Ajax for a fee of around €40 million. He has had ample opportunities to prove himself in English football, but things are clearly not going according to plan.

The Dutchman finds himself on the fringes of the first team now and is clearly not a part of Erik ten Hag’s plans anymore. A move away from Old Trafford would be ideal for all parties. Manchester United need to cut their losses on him and invest in a player who can help them.

The 26-year-old midfielder needs to get his career back on track as well, and that is simply not possible at Old Trafford anymore. A move to Italy could give him the fresh start he needs right now. So, the interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan comes at an opportune time.

Inter Milan need to add creativity and technical attributes in the middle of the park, and the 26-year-old could be a good fit for them. He has previously shown his quality at Ajax and has the ability to succeed in Italian football as well. The lower intensity of Serie A could be a good fit for the Dutchman, and it would allow him to enjoy his football once again.

There is no doubt that the Dutchman has the quality to improve Inter Milan if he can regain his confidence and sharpness. He was regarded as a top-class playmaker during his time in the Netherlands, and he could add goals and assists to the Inter Milan midfield. The report claims the Serie A giants are ready to offer €20 million to secure his services.

Given his stature at Manchester United, the €40 million flop could be available for a reasonable price during the January transfer window. So, Inter Milan could sense the opportunity and snap him up on a bargain.
