Saudi Arabian clubs are keen on acquiring the services of the 30-year-old Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.

According to a report by Fichajes, Arsenal’s Thomas Partey is attracting a lot of interest from Saudi Arabia. The 30-year-old midfielder is on the wishlist of a few Saudi Pro League clubs and they are looking to push for his services before their transfer window ends.

While the transfer window in Europe’s top leagues is done and dusted, the window in the Middle East still remains open but not for long. The Saudi Pro League’s transfer window ends on 7 September and before that, a few of their clubs are looking to sign multiple stars from the Premier League.

The SPL have already signed some of the biggest stars in world football. The biggest name currently on their radar is Mohamed Salah. Al-Ittihad are going all out to land the Liverpool ace, they are ready to break all transfer records. But, they are still unlikely to acquire his services with the player committed to the club.

While signing Salah might be a difficult task, the Saudi Pro League also have a few other targets. One of the names on their list is that of Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.

Ever since Arsenal acquired the services of Declan Rice, the future of the 30-year-old midfielder has been up in the air. Despite that, he remains an integral part of their first team. However, a move at this stage still can’t be ruled out. It will depend on the package that the Saudi Arabian club provides and on top of that, whether Partey wants to leave Europe or not.

The Ghanaian international has so far featured in four matches for Arsenal. He has had an important role in the team alongside their new signing Rice. While Mikel Arteta would love to have the €50 million star in his ranks for the 2023-24 season, a significant offer could mean a potential exit.

With the Saudi Arabian transfer window all set to end tomorrow, a few clubs will come for the signatures of the 30-year-old. And, it will be interesting to see if they can convince Arsenal as well as Partey regarding a deal.
